First you need to login into the IT Returns website.

http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

Login as Registered user.

Enter your user id and password, Date of birth and Captcha code to login to the IT Returns portal.

In the left side click on view Form 26AS(Tax credit)

Click on the confirm button, it will take you the traces website..

Click on I agree to the usage and acceptance of Form 16/ 16A generated from Traces and proceed.

Click View Tax Credit (Form 26AS) to view your Form 26AS.

Select the Assessment year and view as PDF, In order to open the pdf enter your date of birth ddmmyy format . You will be able to find out the tax amount deducted by the employer from salary.
